I offer a number of different talking therapies and there are some different fees applied:
A regular 50 minute session of talking therapy or CBT is £35
1 hour session of Rewind Therapy is £50
CBT - A short term (12 weeks or under) therapy aimed at changing negative thought processes with various techniques and exercises
Rewind therapy - A powerful 'reprogramming' technique to help reduce or remove: Anxiety, phobias, OCD, and traumatic flashbacks. This is a brief but highly effective therapy which only requires 1-3 sessions.
I work with a number of issues including (but not limited to): Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Relationship issues, childhood issues, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, suicidal thoughts, stress, PTSD, low self-esteem, Trauma, loneliness, self-harm and trauma.
I qualified as a psychotherapist with the University of West England on an accredited course which is recognised by the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I am a registered member of their organisation. I adhere to their ethics and guidelines.
I was trained as an integrative therapist, which means I use a number of different methods, models and techniques in my work and I choose which is most appropriate for each client. We can discuss this is more detail if you are interested.
I am a member of the dissociation friendly therapists and have completed appropriate courses working with clients suffering with dissociation Identity Disorder (DID) or PTSD. I worked with the NHS for a number of years, dealing with any issue presented.
I have been concentrating my studies on working with trauma and its related cases; PTSD, Sexual trauma, childhood trauma etc. I am passionate about this area of work and helping traumatised clients find peace is immensely rewarding. Trauma work is slow and long as it is vitally important not to re-traumatise anyone. I work very flexibly and creatively. This might mean painting or playing with clay. Talking and walking outside. Body aware therapy. If there is a way to work to help you, then we can find it and work on it together.
